Some of these shipments required significant fabrication activities, some just need to be cut to size or simply picked from our large in-stock inventory of lead products and some require valued added engineering services
Recent Shipments
- CNC machine per customer written blueprints using AMS-7721 Antimony Lead plate: 1/16″ x 48.25″ x 60.25″ lead sheeting. This antimony lead item is stiffer than soft lead. It was shipped to a government sub-contractor in Canada.
- Pick and ship Lead balls and lead shot for ballast. Sold in miscellaneous sizes & grades to a national plumbing supplier. The lead for sale will be used as tooling during their assembly processes.
- Cast lead bricks 65lbs each, 3.25″ x 4.25″ x 12.25″lg Per QQ-L-171 Grade B. Encapsulated with high build saltwater proof epoxy. Lead Coating to be black color, 8.0 mils thick & cured and packaged into Weatherproof packaging, all with written certifications. Sold to a Government sub-contractor in Bath Main for experimental lead weights in ocean environments. Nuclead has lead bricks for sale and lead blocks for sale for industry, commercial, Research, Bulk or Custom lead brick applications.
- Provide scrap lead chips, dross, foil, solids, reclaimed shot or shavings for miscellaneous lead weight or lead ballast or for smelting. Nuclead provide this reclaimed lead in mixed sizes, debris & grades. All salvaged lead by Nuclead is uncertified. Scrap lead can be used for ship ballast or boat ballast also. This lead order for sale was delivered to a company in New York that are experts in façade access systems and will use the lead product as lead counterbalance material.
- Cut lead sheeting to 3/4″ x 5.00″ x 36.00″, per QQ-L-201F Grade C. This lead product complies with ASTM B29 Copper-Bearing Lead and certified the same. Delivered to a medical OEQ in Washington State, for imaging equipment radiation shielding protect. The thick lead plate was stripped down into smaller widths, so they were manageable to handle.
- Fabricate lead tubing into 1.50″ Lead Gutter Outlets x 5.25” long @ 50 PCs. /Carton. Sold and shipped to a national hardware distributor for resale throughout America. Lead goosenecks are used to retore old buildings to their original condition. This is required in many historical districts. Lead pipe and lead tube meet the historical requirements. Nuclead manufactures lead items to the highest quality standards for long term use. All pure lead products begin as lead ingots. They are then produced into lead billets for the lead extrusion process. Upon which, the lead is sawed and spun into the proper configuration to fit each common sized wooden gutter. Special sizes and lengths can be requested up 10’ long if required.
- Supply special lead items with 0.020″ Lead foil with black vinyl laminated to one side and PSA with release paper on the other @ 1.50″ wide x 40′ long. Lead lining is a very efficient manner of lead shielding protection and having a nice cosmetic lay or protection for the operator and patients. X ray shielding delivered to their medical equipment OEM is sold nearly every quarter by Nuclead.
- Extruded Lead: Weather-T- Caps: 1/2″ wide x 7/16” joint depth x 25#. Reference: Approx.; Four (4) 8′ lengths per 25# extruded. “Type B” = Inside 90-degree corner cap; Per U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Historic Preservation Technical Procedures Codes. Shipped to a waterproofing company in Oregon. The lead product for sale will be used as lead waterproofing materials. The unique lead items are soft and comply to the GSA specifications. Nuclead lead t caps ship fast to the customers construction worksites.
- Supply Lead Plate: 1/16″ x 36.00″ x 36.00″ to radiation protection OEM in New England. Nuclead provides lead sheets for sale for radiation shielding or x ray shielding. Lead foil and lead sheet metal can also be used along with lead plates for this type of protection. Lead sheet is also used for lead lined drywall and lead weights. The lead products come in pure lead or antimony lead grades for different applications.
- Provide Several Lead Extrusions Orders to several locations and sites: Weather-T- Caps: 11/16″ wide x 1/2″ joint depth x 25# spools & 1.00″ wide x 11/16″ joint depth x 40′ spools. Both in “Type A” = Flat cap and Type B corner cove cap at 90 degrees, Per U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Historic Preservation Technical Procedures Code: #452001S & #765601S. Shipped to a restoration firm in Wisconsin that does stone, Terra Cotta and Structural restorations. Others included a firm in New Jersey that maintains some of the state’s largest and most historical buildings. Also, a waterproofing firm in Oregon that provides a broad range of repair and maintenance service through the Pacific Northwest with lead waterproofing, masonry restoration, joint sealants on college campuses and historic landmark buildings. Nuclead also provides lead extrusions for lead wire and weathercap t-caps, along with came lead and lead wedges.
- CNC Mill lead spacers using in-house processes option #1, using Lead sheet: 3/8″ x 60.25″ x 60.25″: Cert #0946. Must comply to print note QQ-L-201f Grade C, >= 99.91% Lead (Pb). Lead items will be delivered to military sub-contractor in New Jersey and dispatched to a US Army arsenal for weapons and munition installation and assembly. Custom lead orders are Nuclead’s specialty and can hold tolerances within 0.0002”. Nuclead professionals are experts machining lead into customers specifications. This lead spacer item is extremely fussy and complicated to fabricate and CNC machine. Nuclead can also CNC mil or CNC turn lead washers, or lead spacers to any configuration required.
- Special Lead foil: 0.008″ (+/- 0.0005″) x 12.00″ x 50# per UNS L51121. Rolls must be from the same lot number. Delivered to an OEM of a government contractors for lead shielding. Thin lead sheet or lead foil can be produced as thin as 0.0020” thick. It also can be produced as thick as 3” thick per QQ-l-201-f as lead plates. lead sheets can be fabricated using pure lead products or antimony lead. Lead sheet metal is the perfect material for radiation shielding for these customers applications.
- Extrude Custom Lead Rod, 4% – 7% Antimony: 4.25″ OD x 90.00″ Long. Sold to Aerospace, test, diagnostic and analysis company in California. The company tests for aircraft fatigue and repairs as required. They will be using the lead products for sale as replacement parts from the original OEM. Nuclead extrudes lead into lead bars for resale or to custom specifications provided by the customer. The lead rods can be in coiled, spooled or straight conditions.
- Cut lead sheet metal to customers custom specifications: 5mm thick x 3.00″ x 8.00″. These custom miller meter sizes are for production lead shims of a special assembly processes of a CNC grinding house in the mid-west. Lead sheets for this process are used as lead lining for a radiation shielding application.
