Fabricated Lead Products
- Cast lead and antimony babbitt with brass inserts. Nuclead was required to fabricate lead molds per customer drawings and pour babbitt into a cavity with brass springs. The finished machined Babbitt will be used for our customer which are Spring making specialists in producing springs and four slide stampings.
- Fabricate lead Soundproofing sheet. The lead for sale is an important component to an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) that producers lead soundproofing for government vehicles, watercraft and aircraft. Nuclead sells lead for these and many other lead shielding and weighted requirements.
- Lead fabricate 1.50″ Lead Gutter Outlets at 50 PCs. per carton and Pick if able: 2″ Lead Gutter Outlets at 30 PCs. per carton and 1.75″ Lead Gutter Outlets at 40 PCs. per carton. Deliver to a national distributor for resale throughout the United States.
- CNC Machine customer supplied Cadmium and Aluminum assemblies. Nuclead to process per customer supplied blueprints and specifications.
- Lead machining with CNC milling, American Science and Engineering components for their backscatter x-ray ZVB. The x-ray shielding will be assembled be AS&E to protect equipment and personnel for radiation omitted during the scanning processes.
- Extruded Lead / Tin Alloy wire: 1/2″ Dia. x 50 lb. spools. Delivered to an arsenal for fabrication of custom bullet rounds for military applications.
- Extrude Lead coils: 3/8″ x 0.75″ x 25 lbs. coil. Sold to a company in New York that uses the lead products sold for radiation shielding across seams of ¼” thick lead sheeting.
- Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 11/16″ wide x 1/2″ joint depth x 25# (Ref: 60′) spool(s). Tons of lead materials shipped freight direct to restoration companies in Connecticut, New York and Pennsylvania.
- Extrude Lead wire: 5/16″ Dia. x 50 lb. spool. Sold one ton of lead round stock and cut lead to 33” lengths. The lead materials are then laminated to poly and inserted into protective shell. These items are used in a medical application because of leads heavy, dense and flexible properties during medical procedures.

- Cut Lead sheet: 1/32″ x 48.00″ x 96.00″, sold and pick-up by a local contractor for special large lead flashing requirements around a large commercial chimney.
- Cut Lead sheet: 1/4″ x 65.00″ x 72.00″, sold and delivered to a custom pneumatic and pump manufacturer. This company in New York requires the special lead items for lead shims and lead spacers for their equipment assembly processes.
- Cut Lead sheet: 3/16″ x 48.00″ x 48.00″ into 156 pieces of 0.200” x 3.00” x 3.50”; Delivered to a machine shop in Illinois for their own lead value-added services.
- Pick and ship Lead foil: 0.005″ x 12.00″ x 720.00″. sold to an aerospace manufacture in Washington State for radiation shielding of equipment and personnel.
- Pick and ship Pure lead Pig ingots, approx. 40#-70# ingots (approx. size: 3.00″ x 3.00″ x 18.00″, loaf shape). Sold to a Concrete company in Ohio. The Nuclead lead items are used as lead weight for the company’s production process.
- Sold lead construction items 1.50″ Lead Outlets @ 50 PCs. /carton. Delivered to a wholesaler that will distribute the lead construction materials across the country for resale.
- Pick and ship Lead Wool per QQ-C-40: Sold to a construction company that uses the lead items sold for re-caulking mortar joints.
- Pick and cut Lead foil: 0.005” x 1.00″ x 60′ (720.00″); Per Q-codes Q1-Q5, Q15 & Q16. Certify to Aerospace items for x-ray protection, with Shelve life = 1 year. Store individually into plastic zip lock with moisture desiccant. Label each bag as quoted (p-touch): “Nuclead, Inc. P/N: QTE23725-LINE2”. Sold to a university for their internal x-ray shielding operation M35905A0-1 Op# 60 Pc# 10 – ISR23C66″ and “Mfg date 11/06/2020, X-date 11/06/2021.
- Pick and ship two tons of Pure lead Pig ingots, approx. 60#-70# ingots (approx. size: 3.00″ x 4.00″ x 18.00″, loaf shape). Sold to a models and tools company in Michigan that will use the Nuclead lead products for lead babbitt during their assemble of lead components.
- Pick and ship Re-claimed Lead shot/balls: For Re-loading, Ballast, Re-melting, or Misc. weight/Ballast: Misc. sizes & grades. The lead for sale for this local customer will be used for boat ballast.
