This week Nuclead shipped a special formulation alloy, if you need any alloys with special composition give us a call and we will be happy to quote it for you.
Here are some of the shipments that we made this week:
- Nuclead has one of the largest inventories of lead products in the USA today; we are able to accommodate many orders for products such as lead bar stock and lead bars immediately. This week we had a couple of examples where we shipped lead products from stock to customers who were adding value:
- Shipped lead bars to a window contractor in Sarasota, FL for Lead counterweights for window shutters.
- Shipped 3/4″ diameter lead extruded bar stock to a machine shop in New Haven, IN; for their value added services.
- Nuclead sold lead Racing weights to an automobile racing team in Bellingham, MA. Lead racing weights, in the form of lead bricks or lead bars, are used in racing cars to balance the car to achieve optimal performance and to meet the weight restrictions that the car must fall within to meet specifications.
- We shipped extruded 1/2 round, lead shielding pipe; to a re-seller in Oconomowoc, WI. Lead pipes are used in industry today because of the properties of lead that include radiation shielding, malleability, flexibility and resistance to corrosion. Typical applications include chemical plants, nuclear plants, paper manufacturing plants and Hydro and plating applications.
- Fabricated and shipped a special Tin/Silver/Cadmium/Antimony Alloy: to a machine shop in Circleville, OH; for their value added services.
