Some of these shipments required significant fabrication activities, some just need to be cut to size or simply picked from our large in-stock inventory of lead products and some require valued added engineering services
Fabricated Lead Products
- Cast Nuclead Lead bricks: 1.50″ x 7.25″ x 7.25″. Sold t a professional auto racing team in Michigan for lead racing weights.
- Cast Pure Caulking Lead: Five count of Virgin 5# ingots. Sold to a mining equipment OEM that uses the Nuclead lead items for their diesel engine manufacturing. The lead caulk is used as lead babbitt during it processes.
- Cast Nuclead brand Lead Bricks 2.00″ x 4.00″ x 8.00″ per customer supplied prints including 1/4-20 Eyebolts installed. Install special inserts for lead blocks and lead weights in 4 places in each. All blocks to be painted per customer specifications. Shipped to Idaho National Laboratory. These Nuclead lead products will be used for special lead weights in a laboratory environment.
- Cast: Lead Diving Weights on sizes from 1 lb. thru 5 lb. Sold to a spearfishing company in Florida for their day to day operations.
- Nuclead to lead fabricate, Lead Plywood, 48.00″ x 96.00″: 1/8″ and ¼” Lead Sheeting, Bonded for installation purposes only, to; 3/4″ Western fir CDX: Sold radiation shielding to a government NDT testing company founded in 1967, This customer is a materials testing company with extensive NDT training programs, testing services and inspection capabilities requiring lead shielding for radiation protection. They can provide Level III services including preparing your written practice and qualifying your personnel.
- Deliver “Nuclead” Brand, Cast Square edges Lead Bricks: 2.00″ x 4.00″ x 8.00″. This lead items were fabricated for a commercial automobile racing team for racing weights. The customer needed the lead products urgently and Nuclead had them in stock and ready in 1 day.
- Provide Pure lead Pig ingots, approx. 40#-70# ingots per ANSI/ASTM-B29-Grade B. sold to a machine shop in California for unknown purposes. The lead needed to be certified and Nuclead with its ISO 9001:2015 registration was able to certify to this lead specification.
- Fabricate and ship Lead foil: 0.002″ x 12.00″ x 1,020″ to the University of Tennessee for x-ray shielding testing.
- Fabricate custom lead weights 2.00″ x 4.00″ x 7.00″. Sold to a private jet transportation company in the need of small lead ballasts for their jet aircraft fleet.
- Supply for lead blue board project in New York, Lead sheet: 1/16″ x 48.00″ x 96.00″. This lead contractor opted to assemble the Nuclead lead radiation shielding on site without lamination by Nuclead. This more economical method is the choose of some lead contractors.
- Lead fabrication of 2″ Lead Gutter Outlets @ 30 PCs. /carton and delivery to a building supply distributor. This lead distributor sells to many nationally owned hardware stores for re-sale.
From Inventory
- Cut Lead Glass: Provided for customer prep &/or assembly. 24.00 x 24.00 x 8.5-9.5mm x 5/64″Le x 150kv. Sold to an international resale in New Jersey for resale overseas.
- Pick and ship from Nuclead large lead inventory, Lead Wool per QQ-C-40: Sold to a reseller in Indiana for re-sale to an unknow buyer.
- Cut lead sheet: 1/8″ x 15.530″ x 16.530″. Sold to a local machine shop for their own lead fabricated value-added services to an unknow customer.
- Nuclead to provide Cut Lead sheet: 1/16″ x 8.00″ x 48.00″. sold to a hammer OEM that uses the lead for its heavy, dense properties.
- Lead Extrusions: Free samples of Weather-T- Caps: (W”) wide x (J”) joint depth x (12.00″ sample. “Type A” = Flat cap. Sent via UPS ground to a masonry company for evaluation in Rhode Island.
- Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 1.00″ wide x 11/16″ joint depth x 25#. Delivered to a Restoration firm in Maryland, after evaluation of free samples last week.
- Pick from Nuclead inventory, Pure lead Pig ingots, approx. 40#-70# ingots (approx. size: 3.00″ x 3.00″ x 18.00″, loaf shape). Sold to a contractor in Texas using the pig lead as lead ballast for their 34’ Buddy Davis.
- Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 1.50″ wide x 13/16″ joint depth x 25# (Ref: Approx.; Three 7′ long lengths). “Type A” = Flat cap; Per U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Historic Preservation Technical Procedures Code: #07656-01 & #765601S. sold to a restoration company in Pennsylvania for lead T-cap weatherproofing.
- Pick and ship from Nuclead lead inventory, Lead Wool per QQ-C-40. Sold to a wholesaler in Indianapolis for re-sale.
- Pick from Nuclead inventory, Virgin Antimony: Pure Grade A “Sb”. Deliver to an automotive equipment OEM that uses the virgin materials for lead alloy and special manufacturing processes internally.
- Pick 1.25″ Lead Outlets and sell to a restoration firm in New England to restore an 19th century farm house to its original conditions.
- Pick and deliver Lead sheet: 1/16″ x 48.25″ x 291.00″. Sold t a roofing company in Rhode Island for special lead flashing purposes. The lead flashing will be used to waterproof a large old brick chimney. The lead will mold to its shape because of its soft properties and will outlast the live of the roof.
- Provide a Free Sample: Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 1.00″ wide x 11/16″ joint depth x 25#. Deliver to a restoration company in Maryland for testing Nuclead t-caps for its applications. If testing is successful, and order will be intimate.
- Deliver Scrap Lead solids &/or sheet: For Misc. Weight/Ballast or Re-melting: Misc. sizes & grades, to a mapping company in New England. This firm uses the Nuclead lead items for lead counterweights during field work with their equipment.
- Pick and deliver Lead foil: 0.002″ x 12.00″ x 1,020″ to University of Tennessee. The university is using Nuclead lead product for evaluation of radiation shielding. If acceptable, the UofT will be purchasing and large lot with value added services per customer blue prints.
