Some of these shipments required significant fabrication activities, some just need to be cut to size or simply picked from our large in-stock inventory of lead products and some require valued added engineering services.

Nuclead’s has extensive experience in custom precision engineering. Nuclead can cast any standard lead alloy or any custom alloy to your specifications. Nuclead also provides stamping and cutting, lead welding and lead assembly and lamination services.

- Cut and ship to size: Lead Glass: Provided for customer preparation & assembly. 23.75″ x 31.75″ x 7-8mm x 1/16″Le x 150kv; sold to a repeat customer in the Carolinas for a new medical facility in North Carolina.
- Cut and ship Lead Glass: Provided for customer prep &/or assembly. Maybe substituted with 5/64″ Le x 9mm thick at no extra charge as inventory allows.
12.00″ x 24.00″ x 7-8mm x 1/16″Le x 150kv; Ship to an injury clinic in Dallas for a restoration of an old radiation department. - Saw and ship antimony lead per AMS-7721 Antimony Lead plate: 0.080″ x 4.00″ x 48.25″; sold to a defense contractor in Indiana for testing then resale to the contractor.
- Pick and ship from in stock inventory: Lead Gutter Outlets x multiple diameters. Sold to a lumber yard in New England for resale.
- Pick and ship from stock: 2″ Lead Gutter Outlets x 5.375″ long; sold to a construction company in New England for an old homes restoration project.
- Pick and ship from in stock inventory: Lead Wool per QQ-C-40: Sold to a leading manufacturer that uses the lead wool in custom structures with export capabilities throughout North America & Canada; that specializes in the construction and reinforcement of high rises, railroads, hospitals, office buildings and highway bridges.
- Pick and ship from lead in stock: Lead sheet: 1/64″ x 48.00″ x 242.00″; Sold to an artist in New York to be used in their studio for the creation of monuments.
- Saw and ship Lead Sheet: 4.0 mm x 72.00″ x 72.00″; sold to a lumber fabricator in the mid-west for equipment bearing repair.
- Pick and ship from Nuclead web site PayPal store page; W-131: Wire 1%Sn / 99%Pb 1/16″ x 1# – 50# coils. Shipped to a customer in Oklahoma for unknown use.
- Pick and ship Lead flashing: 2.5# x 8.00″ x 24′ (288.00″); sold to construction supplier in Minnesota for resale.
- Ship from stock: Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 1″ wide x .687″ joint depth x 25# (Ref: 40′) spool(s). “Type A” = Flat cap; Per U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Historic Preservation Technical Procedures Code: #07656-01 & #765601S: Deliver to a stone works company in the Northeast for a restoration project.
Fabricated Lead Products
- Fabricate and ship a construction package consisting of: Lead Sheetrock, 48.00″ x 96.00″: 1/16″ Lead Sheeting, Bonded for installation purposes only, to; 1/2″ sheet rock; Lead Seam Filler Tape for Corners, Utility, Cut-outs & flat sheetrock seams: 1/16″ x 1.75″ x 50 lbs. spool. (Approx. 90’/spool); and Lead screw shield(s), 1/16″. Sold directly to a Hospital in Pennsylvania for a restoration project in their x-ray department.
- CNC machine to customer blueprint specifications: 1/2″ thick lead vault door. Sold to an engineering firm in the southwest that specializes in High-power Electromagnetic Effects; RF Communications; Photonics; Embedded Systems; Material Sciences; Model-based Engineering & Engagement Modeling.
- Fabricate and ship special lead brick per customer written blue prints. Sold to an electronics OEM for miscellaneous weight.
- Fabricate and ship per customer blueprints: Lead Acrylic: (0.8mm Pb) x 18mm thick. Nuclead fabricated these very large sheets on CNC equipment and shipped them to the customer plant in the southeast to an engineering firm which was part of a radiation shielding project for the US government.
- Extrude lead 1″ diameter round bar stock. Sold to an alloy & metals wholesaler in California for re-sale.
- Fabricate and ship per customer blueprints: Pure lead seals. Sold to a bearing OEM in the Northeast. These lead seals are used for oil free foil gas high speed bearings &Turbo-expanders; for various Aerospace and commercial applications.
- Fabricate and ship tight tolerance Counter, Lead Weight for the Department of the US Army in New Jersey per supplied blueprints. These items are fabricated to lead specification QQ-L-171 Grade
