Every month at Nuclead we ship a large variety of lead based products such as Lead Glass, Lead Soundproofing, Lead Counterweights, Lead Shielding

Here are some of the items we shipped recently to customers around the world.

Some of these shipments required significant fabrication activities, some just need to be cut to size or simply picked from our large in-stock inventory of lead products and some require valued added engineering services

Nuclead’s has extensive experience in custom precision engineering. Nuclead can cast any standard lead alloy or any custom alloy to your specifications. We can machine your product to your drawings. Nuclead also provides stamping and cutting, lead welding and lead assembly and lamination services.

Fabricated Lead Products

• Fabricate and ship Nuclead puritan brand, cast lead blocks: 7″ x 9″ x 9″: Sold to a machine shop in Pennsylvania for its own value added services.
• Fabricate and ship Lead Soundproofing sheet: 0.020″ x 48.00″ x 240.00″; sold to a sound proofing company in New York. This is a regular customer that has a large back log of new pending work, and buys Nuclead’s soundproofing sheeting on a regular basis as required.
• Fabricate and ship Sample piece for testing at an independent lab before production can begin: 0.008″ Lead Foil approx. 6.00” x 11.00” & Apply 3m 97057 conductive transfer adhesive to one side. Labeled per PO instructions. Once testing is completed Nuclead can begin production runs.
• Fabricate and ship large, one ton counterweights per customer supplied blue prints. These large items will be shipped to an oil and gas, multi-national company in the U.A.E.; and used as counter weights for mining and exploration equipment.
• Fabricate and ship, special sized and tolerance 6% antimony lead shielding. Sold to a NDT OEM in New York. This customer has purchased many times from Nuclead, primarily for their prototype orders. Because of Nuclead large inventory, we are able to deliver smaller orders such as these quickly to the customer which essential.
• Fabricate and ship several sizes of pure lead wire on 50# spools. Ship to a machine shop in Maryland for its own value added services.
• Fabricate and ship 50# spools of 1/2″ dia pure lead bar stock. Sold to a hardware distributor for unknown resale purposes.
• Fabricate and ship 600# of special Wiping Solder: 40/60 x 5# cake. Sold to a major municipalities public transit system for routine maintenance of their cables.
• Fabricate and ship “Nuclead” Brand, Cast Interlocking 1″ x 4″ x 8″ lead bricks, chevron style. Sold to a cancer center in Louisiana for radiation protection
• Fabricate and ship to a regular customer in New England: Solder 40/60 cake solder. This regular customer is a plumbing supply house and re-sells the materials to their customers.

• Cut and ship Lead Glass: 11.75″ x 23.75″ x 7-8 mm x 1/16″Le x 150 kV : This glass company in New England does a lot of union city contracts for national General Contractor. These items are going to be installed into a new hospital being built.
• Cut and ship Lead Glass: Provided for customer prep &/or assembly. 23.75″ x 33.75″ x 7-8 mm x 1/16″Le x 150 kV: Sold to a general contractor in North Carolina for a new installation in a radiology department.
• Cut and ship Lead Glass: Provided for customer prep &/or assembly. 12.88″ x 16.88″ x 7-8 mm x 1/16″Le x 150 kV: Sold to a Memorial Hospital in Minnesota for repair work in their X-ray department.
• Cut and ship Lead Glass: 24.00″ x 24.00″ x 7-8mm x 1/16″Le x 150kv; sold to a GC in New York for a restoration project of a MRI & X-ray department Minnesota.
• Cut and ship Lead Glass: Provided for customer prep &/or assembly. 12.875″ x 16.875″ x 9mm x 5/64″Le x 150kv: Sold to a Hospital in Michigan for a new installation in a x-ray department.
• Cut and ship Lead Glass: Provided for customer prep &/or assembly. 23.75″ x 33.75″ x 9mm x 5/64″Le x 150kv: Sold to a general contractor in North Carolina for a new installation in a radiology department.
• Saw and ship 1″ plate: Sold to a machine shop in West Virginia for its own value added service.
• Saw and ship Lead sheet: 1/32″ x 1/2″ x 96″; sold to a machine shop in New England for items own value added services.
• Saw and ship Lead Acrylic: 18.00″ x 24.00″ x 0.3mm Pb x 8mm thick; sold and shipped to a research department in Canada for one of its major Universities.
• Saw and ship 1mm Radiation Shielding in sheet form per QQ-L-201-f: Sold to a machine shop in New York for its own value added service.
• Pick and ship Nuclead 30/70 Solder – 1 Lb. SKU: Nuclead 30/70 Solder; ASIN: B00PFXREIS; Listing ID: 1110OF0W519; Order Item ID: 08922043919834
  Condition: New; for our Amazon store front. Sold to a customer in Wisconsin for personal use.
• Pick and ship from inventory: Various weights of Lead Diving Weight: Sold to a personal scuba diver in Mississippi
• Pick from inventory: 8 different sizes of Lead threaded fit all plugs, all in large quantities. Local Sewer and Drain company pick up these Lead sewer covers via “will call”, for consistent usage annually.
• Pick and ship 20 rolls of 0.005″ +/- 0.0002″, pure lead foil x 1.00″ wide of 5lb fiber cores. This regular customer uses these items for threaded pipe sealant tape to prevent gas leakage.
