Some of these shipments required significant fabrication activities, some just need to be cut to size or simply picked from our large in-stock inventory of lead products and some require valued added engineering services.
Recent Shipments
- Extrude and fabricate 1.75″ Lead Gutter Outlets at 40 pieces per carton. Deliver via Nuclead trucking to a local hardware national distributor for resale. Lead pipe without seams are required for this manufacturing process, of the commercial lead construction products do not split in the field. Thinner lead tubing is best to form the flanges and mold to the inside of the finished location without leaking.
- Pick and ship Lead Wool per QQ-C-40. Ship via common carrier to an energy company in the Pacific northwest. This company has expanded into wind farms and needs to use shredded lead for propeller balance similar to the aviation industry. The lead counterbalance process is the same as any lead weight item. The lead items for sale are used because they are dense and use very little space to make balance equal. It is economical, quick, and permanent. Lead wool is used in most custom or industrial application as propeller lead weights.
- Fabricate Lead doors: Wood – Natural Birch, Flush/slab, no panels, 1/16″ Lead. Laminated thickness: approx. 1.38″-1.75″ + 1/4″ + lead” = Overall thickness 1-15/16” required by customer x W 36.00″ x L 84.00″. Customer responsible for all preparation, hardware, finishes and assembly. Sold to an engineering firm in Colorado for a medical facility in Brighton. The lead lined doors will be used as lead shielding in an x ray department at a medical facility, using in stock lead sheet and wooden slabs. They will be added to the lead walls at the work site by the contractor.
- Pick and ship Lead balls / lead shot for ballast: Miscellaneous sizes & grades. Sold to a commercial water containment company, using the lead weights as lead ballast during the assembly process for their pumps. Lead shot ballast is used when small cavities need to be fill with lead weight instead of using large lead ingots or lead pigs.
- Extrude two tons of Lead wire: 5/16″ Dia. x 50 lb. spools. Lead rod is cut to specification per customer blueprints. Then the lead round bar is inserted into plastic protective covers and sealed. Lead bars for sale are typically used for commercial applications. The lead items for sale with this order were packaged and used in the medical field and fabricated using pure lead products. Sometimes antimony and other alloys can be added to make the bulk lead orders stiffer and stronger.
- Cut Lead Sheeting into strips of 0.863mm x 7.75″ x 9.75″ and Lead Foil into 1/32″ x 7.75″ x 9.75″. Sold and shipped to a machine shop in Missouri. The lead sheeting will be used as lead gaskets for small machine tool repairs. Lead sheet is a good choice as it is very soft and can compress to seal mating parts. Lead plate can be used for thicker requirements of custom and industrial uses.
- Manufacture Lead Plate Package: Fourteen pieces of Lead brick 2.00″ x 3.00″ x 20.00″ and two hundred and sixty Interlocking chevron brick, 1.00″ x 2.75″ x 6.89″. Delivered via Nuclead trucking to a cancer research facility requiring radiation shielding for testing and research. This commercial customer uses Nuclead for is quick delivery and quality products, on time…all the time. The thick lead sheets required, are for industrial and research processes of high radiation. They can also be used for lead lined boxes to store waist. Lead bricks are light weight and versatile in most research and industry settings.
- Pick lead foil 0.021” x 48.25” x 242” and cut lead sheet into blanks for CNC milling operations. Certify to QQ-l-201-f grade C. Pack and QC complete per print #P 1297 Rev G. Order includes all applicable labor, materials, tolerances and notes. PO Quality clause applies: A.2 (Maintain Quality System ISO9001), included. Complies with Quality System QCI 12.4 and 22.1, “Counterfeit Avoidance & Mitigation” also included. Delivered to an Aerosonic OEM in Florida for assembly into jet aircraft. Lead foil and lead sheet are produced using lead ingots rolled to proper thickness and specifications. These are used primarily as custom, commercial, or industrial applications.
- Pick from in-stock inventory Lead sheet: 3/8″ x 60.25″ x 60.25″, lot #0901: Confirm per QQ-L-171 Grade A and certify the same. Saw into blanks for CNC lathe operations to complete Item description 610109-4 Rev B per customer supplied blueprints. The finished products produced complied of lead gaskets and lead seals with high tolerances and finishes. Sold and delivered to an ordinance and technical systems company in Canada.
- Use materials available in stock now of Lead sheeting: 1/16″ x 48.25″ x 291.00″, cut to special sizes for value added services. Produced custom Lead Strips: 1/16″ x 2.00″ x 2.00″ with one (1) 3/8″ Diameter thru hole centered on the 2.00″ x 2.00” with 120 grit finish. Consigned to a municipal water source in the northeast for test coupons. Lead is used as a pure lead anode in testing procedures of industrial applications only. The square lead washers were custom lead products to customer blueprints.
- Pick and ship quick small order of Lead Wool per QQ-C-40. The customer called for an urgent request, and we delivered the lead for sale in 4 hours to a revert aerospace management company in New England. The high-performance testing firm needed the shredded wool for test jet engines.
- Extrude Custom Lead pipe / Lead sleeve (Grade C): 3.50″ id x 3/16″ wall x 20.00″ lg. Sold and delivered via LTL trucking to a machine shop in California. Lead bar and lead tubing are extruded for industrial application like this. The customer needs to CNC machine the lead products to blueprints provided by their customer. They will be used as a round lead container when assembled as x ray shielding in a medical facility.
- Fabricate lead products per QQ-l-201 f into Lead Sheet 1/2″ x 48.00″ x 72.00″. Delivered to a University in Texas for their Nuclear Science department. The lead sheets will be used in substitution of lead bricks. The lead shielding will be used as radiation protection materials in the testing laboratory. Radiation shielding products such as lead stop the harmful effects and protect people and equipment. These custom lead products are used for commercial or industrial use only.
- Fabricate lead construction materials. Delivered via Nuclead trucking the lead items for sale where extruded and CNC machined. The 1.25″ Lead Outlets @ 50 Pieces per carton and 2″ Lead Goosenecks @ 30 Pieces / carton, will be used for historical building restoration. Lead ingots are used to extrude pure lead tubing that is seamless. This lead pipe specially manufactured for commercial lead applications are made with pure soft lead ingots. Machining lead with hard antimony lead is usually preferred, but in this application lead pipe with soft lead is preferred to spin and form to size.
