Custom Fabricated Lead Products
Nuclead provides value added services that allow us to custom fabricate lead products and other metal products to your specifications, you can see many examples of lead fabricated products in this report including
- Extrude and fabricate: Lead pipe x 60″ long x 1/4″ wall. Nuclead was contracted by a Metals Wholesaler in Wisconsin, for the fourth time; to cut the items exactly in half and machine to specified thickness the entire length. A total of 120″ were required for this order.
- Fabricate and ship, “Nuclead” Brand Cast lead brick. Sold to Cardinal Health Nuclear Pharmacy Services Department, for Radiation testing. This Principle Product Engineer inquired about fabricating these brick quickly and Nuclead was able to ship the items the same day.
- Fabricate and ship Nuclead’s own brand, “Puritan” Virgin Caulking Lead. Sold to an Engine OEM in Virginia for Equipment manufacturing, used as a Babbitt material.
- Fabricate and ship an order of 1# lead diving weights. This was an Amazon.com store order and shipped the very next day to its destination.
- Fabricate lead weights to customer blue prints and specifications. Nuclead fabricated a total of 6,280 # of varies sizes and items for an oceanography company conducting Sub-sea testing in Louisiana.
- Fabricate and ship pure lead foil with Pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) on the back of one side. Sold to a Forest Group in Lewiston, ID for x-ray manufacturing & testing shielding purposes.
- Extrude and ship: pure lead half round bar stock and cut to various lengths. Sold to a customer that fabricates x-ray equipment and the half rounds are used for shielding purposes in the equipment.
- Fabricate and ship a full order or Nuclead’s own brand of Puritan pure virgin calking lead. Sold to a plumbing supply house in Massachusetts.
- Fabricate to custom sizes and ship from in stock inventory; 1/16″ lead sheeting. Sold to a metal fabrication house in Massachusetts for its own value added services.
- Fabricate and ship Genuine Grade Two Babbitt in 103 ingots.. Sold to a machine shop that build custom machinery in Texas.
- Fabricate and ship custom lead ballast ingots. Sold to a private party for their yacht ballast in Annapolis, MD.
From Inventory
Also, we have one of the largest lead products inventories in the USA, we are able to ship many items from stock, for example
- Pick and ship an order of lead wool per Federal specification QQ-C-40 and sold to a wholesaler in New Mexico
- Pick and ship from in stock inventory 4′ x 8′ lead sheeting. Sold to a metal fabrication house in Massachusetts for its own value added services.
- Pick and saw and ship lead sheeting, sold to NASA Plum Brook Station for a research and development program.
