West Bridgewater, MA, 3/29/2019 – Nuclead Inc., a leader in shielding technology and lead materials announces the shipment of several orders of lead sheet to customers throughout the USA and Canada.
Nuclead offers Lead sheet in custom sizes and alloys that can be specially fabricated ranging from 1/64″-3″ thick x 1/8″-96″ wide x lengths up to 25′, depending on your sound reduction material, radiation sheeting or x-ray plate needs.
Lead sheet is an extremely versatile form of the metal or alloy. Whether you need radiation protection, corrosion resistance from chemicals, gases or salt water or you have significant noise reduction requirements, Nuclead can supply your needs, usually from stock in a few days.
Lead Sheet, if thin enough, can be cut with shears and can be easily molded into shape for your application.
Thicker sheets can used to block radiation, sound and mechanical vibration and can be built walls, doors, window frames and cabinetry as needed. Or laminated with plywood or gypsum to form lead sheetrock or lead plywood for these applications.
