What another busy week at Nuclead! The entire crew is working a lot of overtime. Another big storm today, but despite that the entire crew is here, and we are working to get out our customs orders
Also this week we adjusted our costing system to current market lead pricing for the new month. As those of you who subscribe to the Nuclead market update will know prices for lead products are determined by the price for lead as determined on the London Metals Exchange plus the cost of any manufacturing process required for the finished goods.

Here are some of the projects that we worked on this week:
- We shipped the lead shielding order per AMS-7721 today. We mentioned an order for lead shielding for a medical company in the radiation therapy field, in last weeks blog.
- We assembled and shipped a hot one day lead sheet order, for customer to from Maine. Nuclead has one of the largest in stock inventories of lead products in the country…many products can be shipped from stock.
- Received a hot, Elevator Lead Counterweight order. All custom sizes with holes & quick lead time. See our press release on this important order for lead counterweights to be used in the Harvard University facilities
- Received another order for lead caulking, for the mining equipment manufacturer. They have been also been very busy lately.
- Received another order from a medical company looking for larger lead wire sizes, cut to different lengths.
- Received an order from a very consistent customer in Maine; for various lead shielding items.
