Here are some of the items we shipped recently to customers around the USA.
Some of these shipments required significant fabrication activities, some just need to be cut to size or simply picked from our large in-stock inventory of lead products and some require valued added engineering services.
Recent Shipments
- Produce custom lead shielding for an overseas aerospace customer of 0.393″ x 1.968″ x 5.905″ Lead Sheeting. Provided with Certificate of Origin, Certificate of compliance and material certifications per QQ-l-201-f. Packaged onto certified overseas pallets with stamp. Package overseas freight the same. The lead sheet order was shipped overnight via DHL. The lead sheets were small enough for this shipping method in several boxes for the entire order. The lead product will be used inside lead lined boxes as radiation shielding and small lead lined doors in the same.
- Cut lead sheet Metal to custom sizes of 1/16″ x 36.00″ x 36.00″. Sold and delivered via Nuclead Trucking to a medical OEM in New England. The lead items will be used as x ray shielding instead of lead brick. It will be laminated and layered into a much thicker lead sheet thickness when completed. This will increase the lead shielding required at a much lower cost.
- Produce custom lead foil for an industrial customer that produces oil slurry equipment. Lead material alloy >=97%-98% Pure Lead (Pb) <= 2% Antimony (Sb). Sold and fabricated as, “each”, Lead foil: 0.005” (+/-.001″) x 1.00″ x 5 lb. each, rolled tightly onto fiber cores. Nominal length each = 202′ of custom lead coils. All lead products are fabricated in the United States and certified the same. Nuclead was following the latest revisions of OSHA approved SDS and Conflict material, CFSI_CMRT. Total nominal length for this order = 210,000′ and 5,250#. The soft lead lining is used during priority field operations.
- Fabricate special lead alloy 5% Antimony / 95% Lead, Rolled, sheeting: 1/4″ x 60.00″ x 240.00″. Sold to a distributor in Texas for resale. The antimony lead order will be used for unknown purposes.
- Cut custom lead plate package with forty-eight (48) separate sizes, weighing 5,000#. Sold to a Fusion center in New England for radiation shielding materials. This commercial customer requires thick, soft lead shielding for protection of their equipment and personnel during fusion testing. The order of pure lead products was certified to QQ-l-201-f grade C.
- Extruded and delivered Lead pipe: Tuyau PB/Copper lead pipe, Dross Free, Uniform wall. Dimension: 2.00″id x .070″ wall x 5.25″ long. To fabricate into 2″ Lead Outlets @ 30 PCs. /Carton. Shipped via Nuclead trucking to national supply chain warehouse.
- Lead cast round 2.93″ Diameter x 5.75″ and Lead cast round 2.93″ Diameter x 3.50″. Ship custom lead weights to a commercial, high strength specialty fabrics company for lead counterbalance of CnC equipment that produces extremely strong commercial grade fabrics.
- Cut Lead sheet to custom sizes: 1/16″ x 48.00″ x 48.00″. Shipped to an industrial customer in Texas. The customer is using the lead sheeting as special lead flashing for industrial use only.
- Purchase 6061 Aluminum and use CNC lathe to produce a custom lead weight to yield 7″ dia x 24″ long. Sold and shipped to a customer in California that specializes in aerospace maintenance, repair, and overhaul. The custom lead weight for our commercial customer is cast per written specifications.
- CnC Turn several pieces of Lead Pipe: 2.00″ ID x 1/8″ Wall x 24.00″ Long, using Lead pipe: 2.00″ id x 1/8″ wall x 61.00″ lg. Sold and delivered to a commercial customer in California. The oil production company uses the lead sleeves experimenting on cleaner energy alternatives and ate fabricated to custom 3-d specifications.
- Extruded and deliver Lead pipe: 5.50″ id x 5/32″ wall x 61.00″ lg. Delivered via Nuclead trucking to a commercial and industrial electrician company, for lead shielding.
- Extrude and ship Lead sleeves: 1.50″ id x 3/32″ wall x 60.00″ lg, to a Laboratory in Calgary using the seamless lead tubing as radiation shielding. This university is using the lead product for sale for industrial purposes and testing. This custom lead order is alloyed with antimony, and allowances for total lead weight. This thick lead sheet order will provide proper radiation shielding at these dimensions, per customers’ specifications.
- Cast custom Lead brick, 99.95% Pb or better: 1.50″ x 3.25″ x 14.00″. This extremely pure lead item is for commercial use in the aerospace industry. For a national laboratory the lead blocks are certified to be the purest allowable commercial. This custom order will be used as radiation shielding.
- Cast and ship via LTL trucking, lead 5 lb. ingots, Loaf shaped. This order of lead weights was consigned to a national park to counterweight large rod iron doors. Nuclead has lead ingots for sale for commercial, industrial, and custom applications. Nuclead can provide all custom CNC and fabricated assemblies to tight tolerances and finishes as applicable.
- CNC cut to custom specifications Lead Free Acrylic Shielding: 22mm thick: 1mm Pb Equivalent, 36.00″ x 36.00″. The customer is responsible for all preparation and assembly. Shipped via overseas freight to a laboratory in Australia as x ray shielding for industrial purposes instead of using lead glass or lead acrylic.
