Some of these shipments required significant fabrication activities, some just need to be cut to size or simply picked from our large in-stock inventory of lead products and some require valued added engineering services
Recent Shipments
- Pick and ship Re-claimed, or Used Lead Shot / Lead Balls: This lead item for sale is typically used for ship Ballast, Re-melting, or Miscellaneous Weight. It comes in mixed sizes, debris & grades. Shipped to a firm in Maryland using the lead products as Lead Ballast weight. These can also be used as scrap lead for many other purposes from this recycled lead item.
- Ship Special lead materials: Lead foil: 0.008″ (+/- 0.0005″) x 12.00″ x 50# per UNS L51121: Rolls must be from the same lot number and certified. The nonferrous metals are manufactured into lead ingots. Afterwards cast into lead plate, the lead items are to be milled into lead sheet per QQ-201-f. The final process requires the lead sheets to be precision rolled into lead foil and cut into finished product.
- Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 1.50″ wide x 13/16″ joint depth x 25# (Ref: Approx.; Three 7′ long lengths). “Type A” = Flat cap; Per U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Historic Preservation Technical Procedures Code: #452001S & #765601S. Delivered the lead t caps to a weather proofing company in Wisconsin for a Local order in Milwaukee.
- Pick and ship used Lead Shot / Lead Balls: For Lead Ballast, Re-melting or Miscellaneous Weight. Mixed sizes, debris & grades. Delivered this scrap lead order to a woodworker’s club. The used lead was purchased for reclaimed ballast lead for their equipment.
- Lead Extrusions of Lead wire: 5/16″ Dia. x 50 lb. spool. The Lead wire fabricated in coil lead, for assembly in the Nuclead facility. The lead wire is encapsulated in PVC and will bend due to leads soft properties. Nuclead extruded 4 tons for a large order of a repeat customer and shipped the lead materials via LTL carries.
- Cut Lead Sheet: 0.5mm x 24.00″ x 24.00″. the lead sheeting is used as lead plate weight for a commercial fishing vessel in New England. Nuclead has lead plates for sale and in stock for quick delivery. Lead sheet metal is used for its heavy soft properties to form to the hull of the vessel.
- Cut Lead Plate 3/8″ Thick x 28.00″ wide x 44.00″ long. The lead plates for sale were shipped to a machine shop in New England. They will be fabricated the x ray lead sheets for lead shielding for radiation protection. Nuclead has lead foil, lead sheet and lead plates in stock and can ship orders quickly to its customers.
- Cut lead sheeting 3/8” x 9.25” x 9.25”, CNC machine to customer supplied specifications. The small, tapered hole in the middle is on 14°, 33’, 26” included angle and must be held within a true position <= 0.0030”. The hole is used for controlled leakage in experimentation of a radiation shielding housing. The lead machining for these components is extremely tight tolerance and tested to specifications.
- Cut Lead Plate: 1.00″ thick x 3.50″ width x 49.00″ length. Delivered to a machine shop in Kentucky for future CNC lead machining. The lead for sale at Nuclead is premium lead sheet and certified to our ISO standards to federal specifications. This pure lead for sale in in stock and ships quickly to our customers. Lead metal can be used as lead weight, lead shielding or lead ballast depending on the applications. Typically, the process always begins with pig lead ingots and lead bars. The finished product is precise enough to be laminated and lead lined to lead drywall and lead doors in medical facilities.
