Custom Fabricated Lead Products
Nuclead provides value added services that allow us to custom fabricate lead products and other metal products to your specifications, you can see many examples of lead fabricated products in this report including lead sheet for lead wire for medical applications, custom lead gasket seals to customer drawings and custom machined lead items to very high tolerances..
- Nuclead fabricated to extremely tight tolerance lead items, for a US Military Sub-contractor in Cincinnati, OH. Per customer provided blueprints the tolerances were better than .002″. This is a repeat order and to be shipped in one release this month.
- We fabricated and shipped 5,000 lbs. of 3/8″ dia. lead wire, which specifically manufactured per customer specification. The lead wire was supplied to a medical OEM in Edinboro, PA
- Also this month we fabricated and shipped lead gasket seals per customer supplied blue prints, with tolerances within .004″ at all points on the gasket.
- Nuclead fabricated and shipped lead flashing in unusual sizes and thicknesses materials to a building supply house in Erie, PA
- We fabricated and shipped flexible lead products per customer supplied blue prints. These items were designed to use the flexible properties of lead to achieve the required functionality. These lead products were supplied to a medical OEM, the application required both high density and flexibility making lead metal an ideal material to use.
- Fabricated and shipped three orders of lead diving weights, sold to various customer throughout the United States using Nuclead’s Amazon store. Nuclead now has several products available for purchase on line at Amazon.com including lead diving weights, lead solder, lead plugs and lead safety clothing and lead thyroid shields.
- Also this month Nuclead fabricated and shipped 3″ diameter lead round bar stock. Sold to The Boeing Company in Seattle, WA for an internal tooling project.
From Inventory
Also, we have one of the largest lead products inventories in the USA, we are able to ship many items from stock, for example:
- Sawed 1/32″ lead shielding to custom sizes for a general contractor in Rocky Mount, NC working on a x-ray room at a hospital facility.
- Picked and shipped 1/16″ lead screw shields for a general contract in Burley, ID. This contractor needed the screw shields quickly for a project they were doing and did not purchase the shields in advance. Nuclead provided the items overnight via UPS red.
- Extruded and shipped 1″ lead weather-cap t-caps and sold to a regular customer in Atlanta, GA. This customer is a restoration expert they restore old buildings to original condition.
- We picked and shipped lead blankets, and sold to them to an individual looking for a low cost method of radiation protection in Columbus, OH
- Picked and shipped from in stock inventory an order of 6% Antimony lead round bar stock. Sold to a machine shop in Fletcher, NC for its own value added services.
- Pick and ship from Nuclead metal inventory, Titanium Plate per CP Grade 2. Sold to a metal distributor in Miami, FL.
- Pick and ship from Nuclead’s solder inventory, W-131 Lead solder 1%Sn / 99%Pb x 1# Cake. Sold to a hobbyist through the Nuclead Web-site. In addition to our Amazon store Nuclead also has lead solder and lead free solder available for sale on line from the website
- Extrude pure lead round bar stock for a machine shop in Cincinnati, OH for its own value added services.
