Some of these shipments required significant fabrication activities, some just need to be cut to size or simply picked from our large in-stock inventory of lead products and some require valued added engineering services
Fabricated Lead Products
- Produce and deliver Nuclead band Cast Lead Brick: 1.50″ x 6.50″ x 11.00″: Sold to Mass Institute of Tech (MIT), for radiation protection of their Nuclead power containment.
- Produce and deliver Nuclead “Puritan” Brand, Pure Caulking Lead: Five count of Virgin 5# ingots. Sold to a wholesaler in Tennessee for resale to plumbers that use the items as plumbers lead ingots.
- Lead extrusion Lead wire: 3/4″ dia. x 25 lb. spools. (approx. 11′). Sold to University of Southern Florida and delivered to its machine shop for unknow value-added services.
- CNC machine per customer supplied electronic STEP files, using Nuclead’s Auto-Cad and programming capabilities. These items are large lead sheet segments that get assembled at a national laboratory in California for radiation shielding of radiation test casks. The multiple lead radiation sheets as assembled, are configured into one large seamless unit of radiation protection.
- Produce and deliver 0.010″ Lead foil with black vinyl laminated to one side and PSA with release paper on the other x 30′ long. Sold to a medical OEM for x-ray shielding and cosmetic finishes for their x-ray equipment manufactured and sold.
- Lead Cast Nuclead own Puritan brand, Pure Caulking Lead: Five count of Virgin Lead 5# ingots. Delivered to a diesel equipment OEM for gasket materials in their fabrication processes.
- Extrude Lead wire: 3/16″ dia. x 25 lb. spools. Sold to an aquatic testing lab that uses the lead for testing purposes. The lead reacts to chlorine and the chemist test this reaction for sample testing.
- Produce and deliver Nuclead brand cast lead brick: 1.25″ x 2.00″ x 24.00″. Sold to a machine shop in New England for their own value-added services.
- Fabricate 1,300 pcs by Nuclead CNC milling centers; Lead shear seals from 3/8″ x 2.44″ x 2.44″ soft lead sheeting. These items are fabricated to extremely tight aerospace tolerances and are for flight component of Navy fighter jets planes.
- Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 1.50″ wide x 13/16″ joint depth x (Ref: Approx.; Three 7′ long lengths per 25# billet extruded. Delivered to a water proofing company in Virginia, for a memorial restoration project.
- Ship second release of Lead shear seals from 3/8″ x 2.44″ x 2.44″ soft lead sheeting. These items are fabricated to extremely tight aerospace tolerances and are for flight component of Navy fighter jets planes.
- Lead extrusion: Lead pipe: 0.75″ id x 1/4″ wall x 72.00″ lg. Sold to a water refinement plant in Pennsylvania, used for wastewater treatment.
- Lead extrusion 2,500# Lead wire: 5/16″ Dia. x 50 lb. spools. Sold to a medical OEM that requires the lead for its heavy and soft properties. The items will be used for surgical weights that are total FDA compliant and encapsulated in PVD and sterilized plastic.
- Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 1.00″ wide x 11/16″ joint depth x 25#. Sold to a restoration firm in Canada for stone restoration of national parks.
- Sold 1,000’ of Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 1.50″ wide x 13/16″ joint depth x (Ref: Approx.; Three 7′ long lengths per 25# billet extruded). 25#. Sold to a restoration contractor in New York City for stone restoration in a City park.
Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 1.00″ wide x 11/16″ joint depth x 25#. Delivered to a masonry company in New England, for a restoration project in New Hampshire. - Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 1.00″ wide x 11/16″ joint depth x 25#. Sold to an engineering firm in Pennsylvania requiring Nuclead’s weathercap for a monumental restoration project in Philadelphia.
From Inventory
- Pick and ship Nuclead brand: 1.75″ Lead Gutter Outlets @ 40 PCs. /carton and 1.50″ Lead Outlets @ 50 PCs. /carton. Sold a pallet to a Northeast distributor for regional hardware store distribution.
- Pick and ship Free 12″ sample Lead Extrusions; “Type B” = Inside 90-degree corner cap; Per U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Historic Preservation Technical Procedures Code: #07656-01 & #765601S. Delivered to a regular customer that needed a 90 degree, inside corner sample to get approval from their customer.
- Saw and ship Lead sheet: 3mm (0.118″) x 0.50″ x 3.00″. Sold to a water treatment plant that uses the lead as a chlorine measurement anode.
- Sell Cut Lead sheet: 3/32″ x 10.00″ x 48.00″ to a hammer manufacturer in the Northeast that uses the lead for its heavy, soft properties to fabricate dead blow; spark free hammers for the oil rigging industries.
- Saw and ship: Lead sheet: 1/8″ x 12.00″ x 291.00″. Sold to a disaster restoration firm in South Carolina. The lead sheeting will be used to replaced damaged lead soundproofing from a fire of a commercial building.
