Radiation Shielding Shipments
- Cast Square edges of Nuclead Brand, Lead Bricks: 2.00″ x 4.00″ x 8.00″. Sold to a pharmaceutical manufacturer in California, after coating with epoxy finishes. The lead bricks will be used as lead shielding for research and development processes. These lead products can also be used for lead lined boxes, lead weights or lead walls for radiation protection for the nuclear industry.
- Cast Nuclead brand square edges, Lead Brick: 1.00″ x 4.00″ x 8.00″. Drop ship to a cancer hospital in New York City for radiation therapy room maintenance. The lead blocks meet the customers’ needs per their written specifications and purchase order per ASTM-B-29. These radiation bricks were manufactured without coatings or finishes as requested. The order was delivered via Nuclead trucking to help expedite the order.
- Pour Nuclead brand lead ingots into, Cast Square edges, Lead Brick: 2.00″ x 4.00″ x 12.00″. Sold to a metal’s wholesaler in Louisiana for resale and lead export as required. The cast lead brick was an order over one ton and ship via LTL carrier. Other lead bricks items that Nuclead can produce such as Chevron or interlocking brick, can be coated to protect people and equipment form lead exposer for a safe installation and operation.
- CNC mill a large lead shielding order for a national laboratory using Pick: Lead Brick per QQ-L-201f: 2.00″ x 4.00″ x 8.00″. This void free lead plate was required per customer provided blueprints to reduce leakage and maintain proper lead shielding requirements. Not all lead shielding requires this denser lead item, but in this case, it was specified
- Ship one ton of Nuclead’s brand of Cast Square edges, Lead Brick: 2.00″ x 4.00″ x 12.00″, to a steel and pipe company in Louisiana. The radiation shielding will be used as large lead lined boxes. Lead products from Nuclead are certified per customer specifications and written orders.
- Cut Lead sheets 0.020″ x 24.00″ x 24.00″ and shipped to a power plant in Pennsylvania. The lead for sale will be used as radiation shielding. Lead bricks can also be used to produce lead walls when more radiation protection is required. This application is used to protect just other equipment and is very thin.
- Fabricate at Nuclead lead factory, Lead 6% antimony plate: 4.25mm x 6.00″ x 6.00″. The antimony lead sheet is being used as radiation shielding in a finished assembly. Lead shielding is required as opposed to cast lead brick for its manufacturing process of QQ-l-201-f.
- Pick and ship Lead screw shield(s), 1/16″, and ship via UPS ground to a construction company on Virginia. The lead construction products are used with lead lined drywall, lead lined gypsum board and lead lined sheetrock for x ray shielding where fasteners hold the products to the building studs. All lead wall panels must have 100% full coverage to protect people and equipment from radiation while in
- Cut lead sheet: 1.40mm thick x 24.00″ x 48.00″, shipped to a cancer center in Canada for radiation shielding materials.
- Fabricate Special ad Custom Lead Foil: 0.010″ (+/- .0005″) x 12.00″ x 50# per UNS L51121. Rolls where all produced from the same lot number per customer written purchase order. Shipped to a radiation shielding OEM for government sub-contractors
- Extrude high antimony lead wire: 5/64″ dia. x 25lb spools. Sold and shipped to a state university in Texas’s Nuclear Engineering Teaching Lab. The lead rods will be used as radiation shielding during testing.
- Cast Nuclead brand, lead bricks 2.00″ x 6.00″ x 12.250″. The lead bricks were the best fit instead of lead ingots, as the tolerances are tighter and counterweight more accurate. The small cavity is also filled completely with lead brick, leaving no gaps. These custom elevator weights where also coated to protect the installers.
- Cast lead bricks using per Refined lead (Pb), low bismuth (Bi) low silver (Ag) pure lead grade per ASTM B29-19. The extremely pure lead used to produce these lead blocks for sale are certified and in-stock for immediate delivery.
- Cast lead bricks 65lbs each, 3.25″ x 4.25″ x 12.25″lg Per QQ-L-171 Grade B. Encapsulated with high build saltwater proof epoxy. Lead Coating to be black color, 8.0 mils thick & cured and packaged into Weatherproof packaging, all with written certifications. Sold to a Government sub-contractor in Bath Main for experimental lead weights in ocean environments.
- CNC machine from lead foil 0.5mm thick x 50mm x 50mm, 99.99% Pure Pb stock. Fabricate into Lead rectangles: 0.5mm x 1.5mm x 2.5mm. Clean, package & ship to an aerospace sub-contractor. These small pieces of lead sheet are used for micro experimentation in a lab radiation level testing.
- Fabricate “Nuclead” Brand, Cast Interlocking 2.00″ x 4.00″ x 8.00″ brick, chevron style. The nonferrous metals for sale for this application will provide the best lead shielding of a lead brick cave.
