Nuclead has extensive experience with all forms of sheet lead for many industries and government applications. Nuclead can supply any size lead sheet from a tenth of a thousand (.0000″) from .0020″ to .0310″ thick. Widths 1/8″ wide and up to lengths up to 200′ long.
Nuclead can also supply custom alloy lead sheet, specially fabricated ranging from 1/64″-3″ thick x 1/8″-96″ wide x lengths up to 25′
Sheet Lead metal is extremely versatile, providing radiation protection, corrosion resistance, soundproofing and counterweight. Lead sheets can also be built into variety of structures, such as walls, doors, window frames and cabinetry to provide the necessary shielding.
Here are some of our Lead sheet shipments
- Cut special 3% Antimony Lead sheet: 0.041″ x 36.00″ x 60.00″ into customers written specifications. Sold and delivered the lead component parts to a valve service company in the south-western United Sates as lead seals.
- Fabricate Lead Soundproofing sheet: (1.15#) 0.020″ x 48.00″ x 240.00″; Re-roll mill fabricated product onto one solid fiber core. Ship cargo to a government sub-contract on New York for soundproofing many military applications.
- Cut Lead sheet, Grade C per QQ-L-201f, 5/64″ x 12.00″ x 12.00″. Nuclead sold lead products to this worldwide, multinational arms, security, and aerospace company. Nuclead’s customer is the largest defense contractor in Europe and among the world’s largest defense companies. The lead items are used in Shielding Electronic components during electrical tests.
- Cut Lead sheet: 1/16″ x 12.00″ x 192.00″. this lead metal item was cut and delivered to an electrical contractor. The contractor in New Jersey needed custom lead shielding for a contract North Carolina with a one-day delivery.
- Cut Lead sheet: 1/32″ thick x 24.00″ x 48.00″. These lead items are special lead flashing components for a general contractor in New England.
- Cut Lead sheet 1/4″ x 3.00″ x 3.00″. These lead sheeting items are going to be used as lead shims for a customer granite company’s installation. These lead items for sale were delivered to a company in Ohio.
- Cut Lead sheet: 1/16″ x 8.00″ x 48.00″ and ship to a hammer manufacturer in New England. The lead materials for the dead blow hammers are uses on oil rigs for their heavy dense properties. The lead does not cause property damage, marring nor sparks for safety our combustible materials.
- CNC Mill 99.999% pure lead sheeting for a national laboratory. The machined lead products were fabricated to tolerances under + / – 0.001” and certified the same. These lead items sold of multi blueprints were shipped over night per the customer’s request. The laboratory uses the Nuclead lead products on a regular basis for radiation shielding during their research and experiments.
- Fabricate as a lot: lead sheeting 1mm and 0.5mm thick x 50mm x 50mm, 99.95% Pure Pb stock, Temper as rolled. CnC mill small rectangle and triangle shapes to +-/0.0005” tolerances per customer specifications. Nuclead cleaned and vacuum packaged lead materials to a national laboratory for testing and evaluation.
- Cut Lead sheets 1.00″ x (W) x (L), multiple widths and lengths. Shipped to a highwall mining company for counterbalance of mining equip
- Cut Lead sheet: 1/8″ x 48.25″ x 291.00″ into Lead coils rolls. Delivered the Lead products for sale via Nuclead Trucking. All Lead items ae used as radiation shielding for a research and development laboratory in Cambridge Mass.
- Provide lead fabrication of Lead foil: 0.005” x 1.00″ x 60′ (720.00″); Per customer provided quality codes. This aerospace customer requires the lead sheeting to be to MIL and ASTM standards and recorded. Nuclead shipped the lead sheets individually in plastic zip lock with moisture desiccant. The lead for sale was also Labeled per specifications required. These thin lead sheet materials will be used as radiation shielding in a government laboratory environment.
- Cut custom Lead sheet/flashing: 1/24″ x 36.00″ wide x 24′ (288.00″). Nuclead offered this general contractor in Montanan special lead rolls, for a commercial roof application. These special lead sheets are flexible and durable for many decades of service. The lead for sale is in sheet form is rolled for ease of shipping.
- Extrude lead metal into Lead rod: 7/8″ Dia. x 72.00″. These nonferrous lead bars were delivered to a local machine shop for unknown value-added services. Nuclead sells lead ingots, lead wire lead sheets and lead weights to many manufacturing facilities for their own value-added services.
