The Lead Pipe will be used in several applications including wastewater treatment, lead shielding, and lead ballast.
West Bridgewater, MA, 5/28/21 – Nuclead Inc., a leader in shielding technology and lead materials announces the shipment of several orders of Lead Pipe.
As a result of properties that include malleability, flexibility, and resistance to corrosion. Lead pipe finds uses in chemical plants, nuclear plants, paper manufacturing plants and Hydro and plating applications. Also, Soil Waste, Ventilating, and telephone and telegraph underground piping, pressure tubes (copper lead) and cable sheathing.
While lead pipes are no longer used for water supply into the home various lead alloys are also still used for drainage. Lead Sleeves and Cones are used with Expansion Bolts for extra heavy loads or for installation in poor masonry materials.
Lead is the traditional base metal of organ pipes, mixed with varying amounts of tin to control the tone of the pipe.
