Customer Places order of lead foil alloy, for GD OTS
Cambridge, Mass., November 07, 2013 – Nuclead Inc, a leader in shielding technology, lead material, non-ferrous metals, fabrication and services; announced today the award of an order from General Dynamics (OTS), for non-ferrous metal alloy foil. The decoppering foil will be fabricated to under .002″ thick, and will have one release shipped this fiscal year. “This customer chose Nuclead for their expertise fabricating these types of products, beating out a foreign competitor for the award” said Dennis M Raymondo, Nuclead Mfg Co Inc’s Chief Operations Manager. “Nuclead needs to fabricate the decoppering foil to an extremely fussy alloy, size, tolerance and weight requirement. Nuclead expects future orders from the program”, he said.
