Soundproofing – examples include lead soundproofing for recording studios but also military applications such as soundproofing on submarines.
Chemical storage – lead sheeting is used to construct and repair chemical storage tanks, and transport systems for corrosive chemicals.
Laboratory testing – a wide variety of applications depending on the industry
Aerospace applications –used to make balance and trim weights in specific custom installations
Radiation shielding – used to make radiation proof vaults for the storage of radioactive materials and also used to provide protection to technicians in medical research and practice.
