Custom Fabricated Lead Products
- Fabricate and ship lead x-ray glass with lead lined window frames. Shipped to a Veterinary clinic in New York for their x-ray facility.
- Fabricate and ship a repeat order of special underwater lead weights per customer specifications. These lead weights are used to help stabilize Ocean water samples of the customers deep water buoys. This Oceanography firm is located in Louisiana.
- Fabricate and ship lead x-ray glass with lead lined window frames. Shipped to a local urgent care center in Pennsylvania for their x-ray facility.
- Nuclead shipped releases of a Lockheed Martin Maritime Systems Order, this aerospace & defense customer places multi-release contract for an order of machined lead soundproofing items. Nuclead shipped these releases against a new purchase order received recently. These machined sound-proofing components are used in the Low Cost Conformal Array (LCCA) being manufactured by Lockheed Martin’s Maritime Systems & Sensors (MS2) Undersea Systems business for the U.S. Navy’s submarine force.
- Fabricate and ship an order of 5 lb. pure lead ingots. Sold to a machine shop in Warren, MI for its own value added services.
- Fabricate and ship various cut to size, lead shielding plates. Sold to a machine shop in Maine for its own value added services.
- Fabricate in house, ASTM #8 White Lead Babbitt: 5% tin, 15% antimony, balance lead. Sold to a machine shop in South Boston that repairs machinery.
- Fabricate in house, square extruded lead bar stock; sold to a farming firm in Ohio for ballast weights.
- Fabricate 1/2″ diameter extruded lead bar stock. Nuclead fabricated 1/2″ long pieces with a 1/64″ diameter hole formed all the way thru end to end. Sold to an imaging and w-ray OEM in Massachusetts.
- Fabricate 1″ extruded weather-cap lead t-caps for a restoration project in Fairhaven Massachusetts. Sold to a Masonry company that uses the lead weather t-caps as stone flashing to prevent water entering into the mortar joints.
- Fabricate 1″ extruded weather-cap lead t-caps for a restoration project in Lexington Kentucky. Sold to a General contractor that uses the lead weather t-caps as stone flashing to prevent water entering into the mortar joints.
- Fabricate and ship special pure lead washers to tolerances under +/- .010″. These special washers are over 3/8″ thick and need to be CNC machined for its tight tolerances. Nuclead has provided this many times to a machine shop in New Jersey for the part of a larger government sub-contractor order.
- Fabricate and ship pure lead wire which was sold to a medical OEM in Edinboro, PA. This item is used for lead’s heavy and flexible properties to be bent into a shape with no movement afterwards.
- Fabricate and CNC machine pure corroded lead shear rings for the Department of the United State Navy; per their specifications and blueprint.
- Fabricate and ship per customer supplied specifications; pure lead radiation shielding absorber plates in various thicknesses for calibration purposes of several of their Thermo-Fisher gamma machines. The items will be used as density gauges.

Also, we have one of the largest lead products inventories in the USA, we are able to ship many items from stock, for example
- Saw and ship 1/16″ thick lead shielding. Sold to a fabricator in Massachusetts for its own value added services.
- Pick and ship from in stock inventory, reclaimed lead shot. The item was purchased by heavy equipment fabricator in Massachusetts and will be used as a counter weight in a small area.
- Pick and ship from in stock inventory, pure lead wool per QQ-C-40. The item was purchased by a distributor for re-sale in Indianapolis, IN.
- Shear per customer specifications, 1/16″ thick lead sheeting. Sold to a Sheet metal fabrication firm in Massachusetts.
- Shear to size from in stock inventory: lead foil and lead sheeting. Sold to a research facility in Egg Harbor Township, NJ; for a research and development project.
