Some of these shipments required significant fabrication activities, some just need to be cut to size or simply picked from our large in-stock inventory of lead products and some require valued added engineering services
Fabricated Lead Products
- Lead Castings, “Nuclead” Brand, Cast Interlocking: 1.00″ x 4.00″ x 12.00″ lead brick, chevron style: Deliver to a detection company in New England to be used as lead X-ray shielding of this third-party testing company.
- Laminate lead foil 0.020″ thick with black vinyl and laminate lead to other side using 3M PSA release paper at 3.50″ wide x 20′ long. Sell custom lead item to a medical x-ray OEM in New England. The Nuclead lead item will be used for lead X-ray shielding.
- Laminate lead foil 0.010″ thick with 3M PSA release paper at 1/2″ wide x 80′ long. Sold this custom lead item to a security and government sub-contractor for lead X-ray shielding during the assembly process of flight components.
- Cast Virgin Zinc: Grade A “Zn”, Bar: 1.03″ dia. x 16.00″ long. Sold to an automotive firm in New England that uses the Zinc rod for their assembly process.
- Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 1″ wide x .687″ joint depth x 25# (Ref: 40′) spool(s).”Type A” = Flat cap; Per U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Historic Preservation Technical Procedures Code: #07656-01 & #765601S. Sold to a restoration firm in New York for waterproofing some walls.
- Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 1.50″ wide x 13/16″ joint depth x (Ref: Approx.; Three 7′ long lengths per 25# billet extruded). “Type A” = Flat cap; Per U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Historic Preservation Technical Procedures Code: #07656-01 & #765601S. Sold to a water damage and restoration firm in Virginia. This regular customer is re-stocking its inventory as it uses Nuclead t-cap products on a regular basis.
- Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 1.50″ wide x 13/16″ joint depth x Three (3) 7′ long lengths per 25# billet lead extruded). “Type A” = Flat cap; Per U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Historic Preservation Technical Procedures Code: #07656-01 & #765601S. Ship to a local masonry firm to use as stone flashing of historical sites in Massachusetts
- Lead Cast “Nuclead” Brand, Cast Interlocking: 1.00″ x 4.00″ x 12.00″ brick, chevron style. Delivered to a radiation shielding detection firm in Massachusetts that uses the Nuclead lead items for radiation shielding.
- Lead fabrication 1,200 lbs., Special lead item: Lead foil: 0.010″ (+/- 0.0005″) x 12.00″ x 50# per UNS L51121: Rolls must be from the same lot number and Packaged with End Caps required. Billed to a MIL application for radiation protection.
- Fabricate CNC individual blueprint components lead x-ray shielding, for American Science and Engineering ZBV’s. The ZVB is an x-ray detection system used at security check points, loading docks or boarding crossing and more; both at home and abroad.
- Fabricate and ship Lead 6% Antimony: 1.50″ diameter x 6.00″ lg. to a machine shop in California for their own value-added services of the 6% antimony lead materials.

- Saw and deliver Lead 6% Antimony: 1.50″ diameter x 6.00″ lg. Sold to a machine shop in California for their own value-added services.
- Saw Lead sheet: 2mm x 485 sq./ft and deliver to an Engineering company in California. This company is using an adessive to laminate the lead sheeting that will be for lead x-ray shielding of product they are manufacturing.
- Pick Lead foil: 0.005” x 1.00″ x 5# Coil (200′), Package with end protection required. Drop shipped to NASA Space Flight Center for a flight operation of unknown purposes.
